WHO FOUNDED MICHIANA EDUCATION AND ARTS CLUB (MEAC)?

The Michiana Education and Arts Club was founded by Dominic Sobieralski in January of 2023. The purpose of the club is to unite musicians, artists, educators, and the people who are interested in education and arts. There are many education, music, and art venues that have closed their doors in the past decade in the Michiana area and the local scene is suffering because of it. We are working to make sure that there will be a stable home for education and the arts here in Michiana by building a strong community with the purpose of preserving and supporting education and the arts.

HOW MUCH IS IT TO JOIN AND WHERE DOES OUR MONEY GO?

The first step to join MEAC is to fill out an application to be considered for membership. Once the information has been verified, your application will be voted on. If you are voted into the club, you will attend an induction meeting where you will be sworn in and will pay your annual dues. Currently, the annual cost of membership is $35/yr. The money goes towards paying for membership-sponsored events such as recitals, workshops, and clinics as well as operating costs and a portion of every membership and donation goes towards the purchase of a permanent brick-and-mortar base of operations for MEAC.
